Podcast Episode 2.19

Getting close to the end of Season 2! Please enjoy this week's episode: Consequential Teacher Crushes

This week we discussed Gilmore Girls S2 E19 "Teach Me Tonight" & Buffy S2 E19 "I Only Have Eyes for You"

Some high school boys get a little too hot for teacher this week, and honestly, it gets pretty dangerous for everybody. Both high school principals are fed up, and let's just say books are coming out when they shouldn't be. Turns out Bryan is way more of a Jess than Stacey even realized, and Rory's excessive dessert consumption has really gotten her into trouble this time. Surprise surprise, something is haunting Sunnydale High School, and Giles is pretty bummed that it's not his dead girlfriend. But don't worry; it all culminates in a beautiful, yet confusing ghost play.

Podcast Episode 2.18

Just like every Tuesday, a new episode is HERE! Worried Little Boys

This week we discussed Buffy S2 E18 "Killed by Death" & Gilmore Girls S2 E18 "Back in the Saddle Again"

A German Freddy Krueger is on the loose at Sunnydale's hospital. Luckily Buffy caught the town flu and is able to save the day. Joyce is very not concerned with Buffy's oddly close relationship with her school librarian. And apparently Willow is secretly a doctor? Lorelai and Puppy Dog Dean work very hard to keep Dean and Rory's relationship afloat, but Rory's got other plans, like pouring over Jess's big chunky pastel handwriting in her book margins. Richard's still trying out new hobbies, like car repair and high school projects. And Rory wouldn't DARE have a digital meeting!

Podcast Episode 2.17

Happy new episode day! Poorly-Attended Funerals

This week we discussed Gilmore Girls S2 E17 "Dead Uncles and Vegetables" & Buffy S2 E17 "Passion"

While Luke deals with the death of his terrible uncle, Lorelai helps out at the diner. As someone who's worked in a lot of restaurants, Stacey's got problems here. While Emily demands Sookie plan a whimsical wedding she surely can't afford, Rory bosses Jess around, and he just kinda lets her. At Sunnydale High, so much of the faculty has died that Willow has to teach now. The gang finally decides to do something about the Angel problem. And between letters and sketches, Angel contrives a very dark and elaborate prank on Giles. #passion

Podcast Episode 2.16

Your new episode is here! Lady Boners

This week we discussed Buffy S2 E16 "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" & Gilmore Girls S2 E16 "There's the Rub"

Whether coerced by charm, food, or morally questionable magic, we got a lotta ladies thinking with their dicks this week. Every woman in Sunnydale suddenly falls in love with Xander, but he's NOT into it? What do you want, Xander!?!? Not surprising that Bryan really liked this episode as a boy fresh outta puberty. Surprise surprise, Lorelai and Emily are fighting! Lorelai solves the problem by doing the same exact thing that caused the fight. Meanwhile Rory struggles to keep her gentleman callers separate, and apparently Stacey likes when men fight over women.

Note: Apologies! Bryan's mic had a mystery issue in this episode. It gets a little crackly a few minutes in and stays that way throughout. We did our best to make it as tolerable as possible. Shouldn't be a problem in the future. We've already recorded the next episode without any issues, so who knows!?

Podcast Episode 2.15

Ready for a new episode of Buffy the Gilmore Slayer!?! Manly Men Doin' MAN Things

This week we discussed Gilmore Girls S2 E15 "Lost and Found" & Buffy S2 E15 "Phases"

This week's all about men showin' us just how lame it is to not wear your testosterone on your sleeve. Who knew one little bracelet could cause so many lies? And Luke gets back at Lorelai for all the times she demand he stop working to help her with something. Meanwhile Xander and Larry bond over a secret. Too bad it's a misunderstanding; with his growing list of love interests, Xander could really use a male friend to confide in. Apparently the women of Sunnydale are just fine with dating monsters. And Bryan and Stacey try to figure out what dirty words the kids are using these days.
