This week we discussed Gilmore Girls S3 E4 "One's Got Class and the Other One Dyes" & Buffy the Vampire Slayer S3 E4 "Beauty and the Beasts"

No matter how nice they tried to be; whether it's their fault or not, these Debs are causing DRAMA! While basically nothing happens in Gilmore Girls, quite possibly too much is happening in Buffy. Time and food don't make a whole lotta sense in Stars Hollow, per ushe, but then again, neither do Sunnydale High's windows and doors. We suspect crucial scenes were cut from both shows. Lorelai's maybe a slayer. Buffy's got a serious Jell-O problem. Stacey shares some computer advice, and turns out Bryan and Lane have a lil somethin' in common.

This week we discussed Buffy the Vampire Slayer S3 E3 "Faith, Hope & Trick" & Gilmore Girls S3 E3 "Application Anxiety"

Both of our teen leads are focused on getting into school this week. While they both seem to be on the path to success, some rogue girls, one a slayer and one a bunny rabbit, cause them to question their futures. Buffy's being pursued hard by a new Canadian love interest. Rory's old beau is like, "Rory what are we even doing anymore?" Sunnydale's newest techonovamp is on a mission to eat every fast food worker in town, and Stars Hollow gets a soda shoppe at the low cost Luke's destroyed soul. And.... you won't believe how Bryan opened his college admissions essay.

This week we discussed Gilmore Girls S3 E2 "Haunted Leg" & Buffy the Vampire Slayer S3 E2 "Dead Man's Party

Summer break is over for real now, and it's time for these moms and daughters to confront their drama head on. Rory finds herself in a whole heap of new drama at school, a place Buffy's not even allowed to go anymore. Lorelai reminds us of a simpler time when germs weren't scary. Turns out an old friendly face was once the zombie demon incarnate of her book club. Much of this week's conflict could have been avoided if they'd only had smart phones back then. And we tell you a spooky little story about a secret tiny room that maybe changed us.

This week we discussed Buffy the Vampire Slayer S3 E1 "Anne" & Gilmore Girls S3 E1 "Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days"

We're psyched to be starting Season 3, and weirdly, both shows open with perhaps prophetic dreams from women wearing sexy pink dresses. Both teen girls learn running away from their problems for the summer won't cure them. After his Season 2 growth spurt, Dean is now mysteriously thin, and we've got theories. Buffy's reunited with an old "friend" who's just a string of mistakes. We've got awkward boyfriend reunions. We've got aliases. Kirk and Oz have been promoted to the opening credits, and in case you missed Season 2, both shows have all the exposition you can handle.
